Book of Remembrance
An entry in the Book of Remembrance is an opportunity to create an individual and personal tribute to your loved one, which will last forever. Entries may be made under the date of death or any other significant date of your choice, for example a birthday or anniversary.
The Book of Remembrance at Thames View consist of two yearly volumes. The deep blue leather covers are decorated with a beautifully hand tooled design, depicting a rampant white horse, the symbol of Kent. Entries are hand inscribed by calligraphers in the tradition of mediaeval manuscripts.
The volumes are displayed in a dedicated room that is open 365 days a year, so that entries ay always be viewed for the current day. The volumes are presented in a specially constructed tamper-proof cabinet.
