I’ve worked at the crematorium in various roles since 2005. My aim is to provide a seamless service for bereaved families making their loved one’s final journey the best it can possibly be. It’s hugely rewarding helping people and to do the best you can for someone at a difficult time. I see my role as a vocation rather than a job and that’s probably why I’ve been doing it for so many years.

Office Administrator and Memorial Advisor

My role is Office Administrator and Memorial advisor and I’ve worked at Banbury Crematorium since 2001. The best thing about my job is that no two days are the same. I’m very lucky to be doing a job that is so rewarding and I have a great sense of worth helping families through their most difficult time.

Administrative Assistance and Chapel Attendant

I’ve worked at Banbury Crematorium since 2018 and my role is as Administrator and Chapel Attendant. The things I love about my job are interacting with families and ensuring everything is in place just as they’re expecting and liaising with funeral directors to make sure the service goes smoothly. The reason I do my job is because I love it!

I’ve worked at Banbury Crematorium since 2014. I really enjoy helping people through a really tough time and learning about the ways that different cultures and religions deal with death. I want to make the day as easy as possible for the families who’ve lost a loved one.

I’ve been at Banbury Crematorium since 2020 as a Chapel Attendant and Cremation Technician. The best thing about my job is hearing about all of the interested lives that people have had, but the reason I love to do it is because it’s helping people during a really difficult time.

Robert McAllister 'Mac'
Head Gardener

My role is as Head Gardener and I’ve have worked at the crematorium since 2006. I really love developing and maintaining the gardens through all the seasons. I really enjoy working outside and particularly like providing our community with a nice final resting place.

Assistant Gardener

I’ve worked at Banbury Crematorium since 2022 as Assistant Gardener. I really enjoy helping make the gardens beautiful and keeping them maintained across the whole year.
